Similan Islands & Beyond
SIMILAN ISLANDS
Diving in the Similans can be demanding for divers of limited experience, but most dive sites have two or more options available. Our staff are very knowledgeable and always do their best to provide safe and enjoyable diving at all times. For divers wishing to upgrade their skills the Similans provide a perfect setting for Advanced Open Water or Specialty training and we have a PADI instructor onboard at all times.

RICHELIEU ROCK
This rock, located near the Surin Islands, has to be one of the best places in the world for whale shark sightings. They don't just appear sometimes; they appear A LOT ! For those of you that have not had the pleasure of swimming with one, this small pinnacle is a place not to miss. Up to three animals at a time have been spotted, the largest over 10 meters in length ! Another local resident is our infamous guitar shark, debatably the ugliest shark / ray / alien in our sea. These large animals, although perfectly harmless and approachable, have a face and an attitude only a mother could love. If looks could kill.

KOTACHAI
Just north of Ko Bon on the way to the Surin Islands, Tachai's claim to fame is the offshore underwater ridge that runs out from the island. This rocky ridge has an amazing amount of soft corals and great visibility, while nurse sharks, leopard sharks and rays are common. The soft corals are some of the most beautiful you'll find and come in a rainbow of colors. This is also one of the better places to observe the incredible whale shark. For you beach bums, Tachai's main beach will take your breath away.
